Project Overview

The Jewelry shop's owner got onto a call with us and wanted us to help her optimize his Etsy store. We offered her that we were able to improve her listing descriptions, listing thumbnails, keywords in general and all other texts and elements of her Etsy store. Not only will we optimise them one time but continue to split-test them to absolute success.

Here are 4 of our tasks we focussed on for the next few months:

  • Restructuring their listing description
  • Started split-testing listing thumbnails and listing descriptions
  • Redesign their store and listings for conversions
  • Restructure their Etsy Ads and make them more efficient

Project Execution

During the first week of her being our client, we did a lot of research on the Jewelry niche, their competitors, their search rankings and preparing a lot of different listing thumbnails as well as listings descriptions to split test over the next weeks.

Once all the data has been gathered it's time to implement what we've found out into her Etsy store. Then it's time to wait and see the results come in and split test further optimizations.

Project Results

We'll just let the results speak for themselves:

  • Increased her Conversion Rate from around 1% to 2.6% within the first month
  • Through excessive split-testing, we increased her Conversion Rate from 2.6% to 3% within the second month
  • Rewrote all texts of their Etsy store including her Slogan, Announcement message, About Us, Shop members and of course all her Listing descriptions
  • Split-tested 20+ listing descriptions and thumbnails
